Building Bridges: carbonBLU & Clean Cities

The alternative fuels and advanced vehicles industry is working hard to develop solutions to the challenges of pollution, global warming and economic dependence on foreign oil. At carbonBLU we recognize there is no single solution for these problems. Collaboration and communication are key as we apply technology and the collective wisdom of our communities to address these issues.

In the spirit of collaboration, carbonBLU is proud to announce its partnership with Long Beach Clean Cities. The U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) Clean Cities program advances the nation’s economic, environmental, and energy security by supporting local actions to cut petroleum use in transportation. Our team admires and supports the dedication, knowledge and services provided by all of the Clean Cities coalitions across the nation.

We have been privileged to collaborate with many Clean Cities coalitions in California and look forward to continuing to develop those relationships. carbonBLU provides valuable hands-on analytics and optimization services to fleets all over California and we are pleased to develop pilot programs and offer discounted services to Clean Cities members. We hope our partnership with Long Beach Clean Cities will only be the beginning of a trend of increased collaboration and team work across the state.

Our work with Long Beach Clean Cities will include providing discounted fleet optimization services to their membership, organizing and promoting educational events and hosting workshops for fleet managers and the public. We encourage fleets everywhere to take advantage of the Clean Cities network as we all work together to improve economic and environmental sustainability practices.
